We are happy to take any product back that is not meeting your expectations per the OregonRecycles.com return policy and within the 30 day time window.
We do not provide service tags, serial numbers, UUIDs, MAC Addresses, IMEI, or other individually identifying information on any product prior to sale. All items should be considered void of manufacture warranties and those warranties should be considered non-transferable.
Shipping and Local Pickup

We do not ship, Saturday, Sunday or on Holidays
We only ship internationally using the OregonRecycles.com International Shipping (formerly known as OregonRecycles.com Global Shipping program). Some items cannot be shipped internationally due to size or regulations.
Otherwise, we ship to the continental US only. Items will be shipped within one (the next) business day of completed payment unless otherwise noted.
We do NOT refund shipping fees, in any instance, shipping is always the responsibility of the buyer. The only exception is if we are offering Free shipping on a particular product.
In most cases we use the FedEx for OregonRecycles.com shipping program, this means the FedEx account is owned, and managed by OregonRecycles.com and FedEx shipping concerns should be addressed with OregonRecycles.com customer support as we do not have direct access to this account.

Combined Shipping: All orders are combined when we offer free shipping as an option, this is both the most environmentally friendly option, as well as it allows us to continue to offer free shipping on most of our laptops.
Orders cannot be split into multiple boxes.
Local Pickup
All items are eligible for free local pickup at our Portland location. Select the free Local Pickup option at checkout, complete your purchase and wait at least two hours for us to prepare your order. You will receive a message with instructions once your order is ready for pickup. Our current pickup hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, and Saturdays 11am-3pm excluding holidays.
Product Return Policy
As an R2 2013 compliant recycler, we strive to ensure that your product is as described, as part of our certification process we test and inventory each item with the exception of some vintage items please read our item descriptions.
If your item does not meet with its description, and/or the product is non-functional (unless described as non-functional, or “R2/Ready for Repair” Or for parts or repair) and/or is not as described, please contact us via OregonRecycles.com, so that we can initiate our return plan.
We do not initiate or accept returns past 30 calendar days of item receipt.
We do not offer partial refunds, we instead will request the product back, once received, and matched to our inventory and records, we will provide a full refund.
We do not refund shipping fees. The buyer is responsible to pay for shipping, unless otherwise noted.
We are not able to offer exchanges.
In the event of a return/problem, please provide the serial number and as much information about the problem as possible.
Please include photos of the item, which includes our inventory label/serial number, and the shipping box and materials as received.
While we do accept returns within the 30 day return period we also care about and are aware of the Carbon footprint of the return process. In the U.S., return shipping creates over 15 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually ? more than the emissions from 3 million cars.
As per OregonRecycles.com policy, we do not accept returns in the event of buyers remorse or “changes of mind”.
Returns and International Shipping: We use the OregonRecycles.com global shipping program, while we do accept returns internationally the buyer is always responsible to pay for their return shipping, including taxes and applicable import fees.
Returns and Freight Forwarders: We only offer international shipping via the ebay Global Shipping Program, if you purchase from us outside of that program and use a freight forwarding service for domestic shipping, please keep in mind that if you need to return the product, it must be returned within the 30 day return period from the day it arrives at the address that it has been shipped to, in most cases, that is the Freight Forwarder.
Buyer is also responsible for all return shipping fees, taxes and tariffs.
So that we can provide the best possible service, all returns are evaluated per OregonRecycles.coms “Condition of returned items policy” to ensure compliance against the OregonRecycles.com “Abusive Buyer Policy”.

We are an R2 2013 certified facility. All items are tested for functionality as per R2 2013 standard and listed as.

R2 Ready for Resale Laptop Battery Testing.
All Laptops sold meet the R2 2013 R2 Ready for Resale testing standards, including battery life (if battery is included) tested to a Minimum 40 minutes discharge.
We use the R2v3 R2 Equipment Categorization (REC) for item grading and to assign the cosmetic, functional, and data sanitization status to Collectible and Specialty Electronics, and Functional Products.
