OregonRecycles.com is the consumer sales department of Green Century Electronics Recycling. We focus on the reuse of consumer electronics and computer technology. 

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Below we have outlined our shipping and returns policies.

Shipping and Return Policy

SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY FOR OREGONRECYCLES.COM AND BRICK-AND-MORTAR STORE
 
Shipping and Local Pickup Shipping Exclusions: We don’t ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. International shipping is through eBay’s International Shipping Program. Some items might have shipping restrictions. For domestic shipping, expect your item to be shipped within 1 business day post payment clearance, except in situations involving freight or other instances outside of our control such as weather or unplanned temporary business closures.

Shipping Charges: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless an item offers free shipping. Typically, we utilize the UPS or FedEx for eBay shipping program.

Combined Shipping:
Orders are combined for environmental and cost efficiency. Splitting orders into multiple boxes isn’t possible.

Local Pickup:
Items can be picked up for free at our Portland location. After checkout and a minimum two-hour wait, instructions for pickup will be sent. Pickup hours mirror our business hours, excluding holidays.

Handling/Processing Times:
Handling/processing times are within 1 business day, except in situations involving freight or other instances outside of our control such as weather or unplanned temporary business closures.

Shipping Hours:
We ONLY ship during business hours Monday-Friday 8 am – 4 pm PST excluding holidays.

Shipping Locations:
We ship to locations within the continental United States.

Override Shipping Method:
We reserve the right to override your preferred shipping method, aiming for the most expedient and cost-effective manner.

Adjusted Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs may be adjusted by the carrier; these cost adjustments are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the item offers free shipping.

No Local Delivery: We do NOT offer local delivery.

Product Return Policy
Quality Assurance: As an R2V3 compliant recycler, we ensure products match descriptions, testing, and inventorying each, barring some vintage items.

Returns:
Contact us via Oregonrecycles.com or eBay for any discrepancies or non-functioning products within 30 days of receipt. Full refunds are issued upon receiving and verifying the returned item. We do NOT offer partial refunds or exchanges for any reason. Please return the product for a full refund. Submit a return request here.

Condition of Returned Items:
We follow the eBay and Oregonrecycles.com policy regarding the condition of returned items. Each item is inspected carefully upon its return. Testing notes and physical descriptions are checked against logs to ensure the item has been returned in the same condition in which it was shipped. Items returned in a damaged condition may be subject to up to a 50% reduction in the refund.

Laptops/Desktops:
Changing hardware or reinstalling the operating system will void this 30-day warranty. The warranty applies to the item in the condition it was listed. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review and understand eBay and Oregonrecycles.com policies and the user agreement. We provide a 30-day money-back return policy on items not as described or non-working. We do not provide partial refunds, parts, or labor from third-party vendors or services. Please contact us for an RMA.

Shipping for Returns:
Shipping fees for returns aren’t covered by us unless specified. For international returns via the eBay Global Shipping Program, buyers cover return shipping, taxes, and import fees. Purchases made outside of this program using domestic freight forwarders should note that the 30-day return starts upon arrival at the forwarding location.
 
Procedure: To assist us in processing returns efficiently, provide the serial number, describe the issue, and attach photos of the item (with our inventory label/serial number) and its packaging.

Environmental Concern:
We’re conscious of the environmental impact of returns, which produce significant carbon dioxide emissions. Hence, buyer’s remorse or “changes of mind” aren’t accepted per eBay and Oregonrecycles.com policy.
 
Compliance: All returns adhere to eBay’s and Oregonrecycles.com’s “Condition of Returned Items Policy” and the “Abusive Buyer Policy”. We maintain comprehensive records of our products, including serial numbers, to ensure compliance and optimize customer experience.
