EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) - GRADE A

● Clean #6 Polystyrene Block Foam (Styrofoam)
● White XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) rigid foam board, construction
● Breaks When Bent 

LDPE – Polyethylene Foam

Accepted #4 LDPE polyethylene foam, including the types visually shown in the guide, such as foam sheets, protective foam packaging, and anti-static foam.

EPS #6 - PACKING PEANUTS (NO STARCH)

No starch

Accepted #6 PS packing peanuts. 

LDPE – Plastic Film

Accepted #4 LDPE plastic film. Use the visual guide to compare your material with the accepted examples.

● Clean #6 Polystyrene Block Foam (Styrofoam)

  • Keep Styrofoam clean and dry.
  • Remove tape, labels, cardboard, and other attached materials.
  • Remove food residue and other contaminants.
  • Keep wet, dirty, or contaminated foam separate.
  • Sort materials into the appropriate accepted category before drop-off.
  • Do not mix non-accepted plastics with Styrofoam.
  • Review the material guide for specific preparation and sorting requirements.
