ASUS Q87M-E motherboard with a black PCB, yellow and black memory slots, yellow SATA connectors, and a gold ASUS-branded chipset heatsink. The CPU socket is empty with its metal retention plate raised; four empty memory slots, four expansion slots, a coin-cell battery, and internal power and peripheral headers are visible. Rear connections include two PS/2 ports, DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA, DVI, six USB ports, Ethernet, and three colour-coded audio jacks. A separate metal rear I/O shield is shown alongside the board. Dust and residue are visible inside and along the edges of the expansion slots in photos and. Rear connector metal housings show surface scuffs and discoloration, particularly around the VGA/DVI assembly and USB ports in. Dark residue is visible around the green audio jack on the rear audio connector housing in. The loose I/O shield shows surface scratches and smudges in. No CPU is present in the open socket. No memory modules are present in the four memory slots in.
