This unit does not have a battery installed. The previous battery failed our testing and was removed. We consider this fact when pricing our items.

Laptops without a main battery may take 10–30 seconds to boot the first time they are plugged in due to BIOS testing and memory training. This is normal.

Every populated record from our authoritative testing data is listed below. Per-unit serial numbers are intentionally omitted from public listings; they are retained in our chain-of-custody ledger.

The CMOS (3.3V coin cell) battery on this unit failed testing. Computers with a depleted CMOS battery will not retain date/time when unplugged and may take up to 3 minutes to fully boot after power loss — this is normal while the BIOS/CMOS reloads. Replacement of the CMOS battery by the buyer is recommended.

The battery is missing. The lid/top panel has light Scratches. Missing parts: Battery.
